In my work based on a photograph of my own from 2018, I used the raw, impulsive energy of acrylic paints to depict the interplay between man and nature. Figurative elements weave into impressionism and lead to a sublime depiction that is rooted in the majesty of the Alps and the summit of the Grosser Rettenstein. This painting is intended to take the viewer on a journey - a journey full of excitement and peace, capturing the power of the mountains and reflecting the silence of the snowy landscape.
