MEGA formats
My MEGA formats are used wherever large areas with a breathtaking panorama are intended to transport the viewer to another world.
Origin
To ensure that a MEGA format meets my highest standards of impact and technical brilliance, I not only capture it with a special high-resolution camera on my tours through the landscape and nature, but also put it together from numerous individual shots. This creates wide panoramas that consist of ten, 20 or even 30 individual shots.
Editing
I look at the individual shots on the computer, optimize the effect through corrective settings and then carefully put them together to create an overall image. This creates the finished files for printing, which are 100, 200 or even more than 300 MB in size. For comparison: a photo taken with the iPhone 12 pro max is only 2.1 MB in size.
Adaptation
I refer to adaptation as the process of finding the right picture in the right size and with the right effect for the individual room. The customer's ideas, the type of room and my ideas as an artist all come together to create a unique work of art that is tailored to the local conditions and the desired effect.
Production
Depending on the requirements of the materials used, production is currently carried out by Europe's leading provider of high-quality prints or by my specialist partner for huge formats on canvas or textile materials in Kitzbühel. So far, prints have been used on brushed aluminum, canvas and wallpaper textiles. A very special variant is the production of a backlit motif or lasering the motif onto a piece of furniture.
