Painting – Pictures and Stories

Oil and acrylic · Canvas and paper

Landscape, figure and free form. My paintings emerge from encounters, memories and the immediate joy of color. Some images stand on their own, while others are accompanied by a text or poem.

Figure, color and sensuality

From January 19 to 31, 2023, EINSIEDELEI in Kitzbühel presented the pop-up exhibition “POP U L’EROTICA”. Oil and acrylic paintings on canvas combined Pop Art with erotic imagery. The motto at the time: “In venere semper dulcis est dementia” – Publilius Syrus.

Can You Remember?

Once we were dolphins
And we plowed through the sea
And we loved each other thoroughly
And when our children once arrived
We showed them how to plow through the sea
And they lived and they loved and they laughed
And they danced in the glitter of the down going sun.

Can you remember?

Once we were dolphins
And we plowed through the sea
And we loved each other thoroughly
And when our children once arrived
We showed them how to plow through the sea
And they lived and they loved and they laughed
And they danced in the glitter of the down going sun.

The White Rush

The large-format painting was created in 2021 for a private home in the Alps. The starting point was a scene from the black-and-white film of the same name with Leni Riefenstahl and ski pioneer Hannes Schneider.
